We always enjoy our visits to Lakeside and always hate to leave.  This is our 16th year.  We’ve stayed in a number of different rooms here—it really doesn’t make any difference as we enjoy our time here every summer.

We have been coming here for 3 years and have fun each year.  We enjoy celebrating the 4th of July with so many families who come here every year at the same time.  The kids act like cousins and the adults enjoy renewing their friendships.  Everyone loves the pool, tennis court, and the great view of White Lake. 

We came here as children for over 10 years in a row.  This is our 11th year in a row since we started coming back in 1993.  Hope for many more.  This is a special place for us and we always enjoy Lakeside Inn and the whole area.  We always discover new things and enjoy so much which is familiar to us.

I have been coming here since the late 60’s as we used to rent a cottage yearly along Scenic Drive.  As a special treat my parents would get us all “gussied-up” for dining on the waterfront—Lakeside Inn.  I fell in love with its “old time history, the ambiance of the place, the old-days lost charm”.  DON’T EVER MODERNIZE THIS RESORT.  It is so restful and it is a perfect spot to get away from the big city.  When we got married in 2000, that was my first time to actually stay in the Lodge and we enjoyed it so much that it has become our annual Labor Day treat for us to look forward to each year.  We always hate to leave, we always say we’re going to quit our jobs and move here—but, alas, neither of us is fond of winter.

This was the worst weather we have experienced since coming here, but surprisingly it was the best time ever.  The kids never complained and had a wonderful time playing baseball and fishing with the other kids.  We sat and watched the lake in sweats instead of bathing suits and it was just as beautiful.  See you next year!

We came here for years as kids and now for the past 12 years as adults.  Love it more each year.  Look forward to coming back next year.  We pre-book our time for next year as we leave.  We hope everyone enjoys it as much as we do.  See you next year!

This is our 4th year coming to Lakeside Inn.  We just love this place.  The kids can roam the place without too much supervision.  They love to play tennis right outside the door.  There’s so much to do in the area—we always end up staying an extra night or two.  So relaxing.  We’ll be back~

Thursday night’s sunset was extra special!  Floating on the shoreline of Lake Michigan in a little blow up boat!  “Hunting” for rocks in the a.m. before anyone else was up (except Chewy).  We really enjoy Chewy (the dog) and think about her all year long.  We call her our “vacation dog”.  My daughter brought a ball to give to her as a gift.  We love the friendly staff here and how clean and beautiful everything is.  We appreciate the pool, playground, shuffleboard, etc…This is our paradise away from home for one week out of the year!  We hope to keep this as a family tradition and hope to get our brothers and sisters to join us some years with their families.  I love the coffee in the mornings!  I am an early riser, so every a.m. I get a cup of coffee and sit on the beach watching the beautiful sunrise.  Everyone talks of the sunsets, but the sunrises around here are amazing too.  My daughter had a wonderful vacation again this year.  Thank you for the wonderful memories and pictures!

After driving from place to place for hours, we finally found what we were searching for….   "Paradise".

This was our very first visit here.  I was fortunate enough to find this place on the Internet and booked our room sort of last minute.

What a jewel!  Friendly, helpful and courteous staff.  Beautiful grounds.  Awesome sunsets.  We'll be back!

This is the second time we have been here.  We highly recommend the Lakeside Inn with its awesome atmosphere.  Friendly staff.  Good food.  Sara, who was our waitress most of the time, was nice and gave great service.  We plan on coming back next summer and hopefully manymore.

Drove to Michigan Adventures early Saturday and stayed until the evening.  Checked into Lakeside around 9:00.  Great food in the restaurant.  Sat outside by the water with our friends and caught up on our lives.  The kids had a ball inside playing.  What a great spot this is!

Enjoying the peace and quiet at this time of the season here; not a lot of people, gorgeous tree colors, swans out in the front in the morning.  A great R and R get-a-way weekend (and at a discount too!).

I love this place! We've come every year for the past 4!  Love the charm and love the waterfront view.

I loved waking up in the morning and stepping right out my door  to sit by the lake!  The swing outside the room was really nice also.  This was a wonderful experience!  We had a lot of fun and were very comfortable.  We hope to come back again soon!

A rest, retreat was greatly needed by this tired woman…from her beloved, but noisy family, telephones, interruptions.  So I ran away from home to Lakeside Inn Resort where I arrived Wednesday to a warm reception on a very cold, windy, rainy night.  I found wonderful peace and quiet here and a gracious staff that saw for my every whim.  I'm leaving today; to quote Dorothy "There's no place like home".  I intend to return and make this my fall hideout.
